Natural black lave rock can handle very high heat

Size of rock ranges from 5/8” to 1-1/2”

Recommend to place a total of 3” of lava rock on burner plate

*IMPORTANT: Keep lava rock dry if possible. If natural lava rock gets wet and you turn your fire on high-heat, you may experience a phenomenon in which the lava rock fragments and pops out of your fire pit. Injury may occur if you do not allow lava to dry out before using.
